FAQs 2015-2016
Q: Where do you get your tails and how much are they?
A: You may have seen our tails in several other mermaids shows before, like The3Tails and Mermaid Magic, because they're excellent beginner tails called Magictails. We got ours shipped from Germany via their site, magictail.de, for around $300 total including the tax and extra shipping fees. If you ship to the US it should only be about $250.

Q: What is your theme song?
A: Oxygen! We haven't finished making it yet but we have the lyrics and the piano complete. All 3 of us girls sing it. Hopefully you'll see it on episode 5!
Q: How old are you / what grade are you in?
A: We don't love being asked stalker-y-ish questions, but we're all 14/15.
Q: Where do you film?
A: Canada! Well, Vancouver. The beaches here are nice but not tropical enough to actually swim in that much, especially during the winter. Filming outside is quite the challenge, so our best filming will be summer footage. Right now, it's more difficult for us to film any scenes outdoors as it snows sometimes and rains A LOT!
Q: How often do you release episodes?
A: We try and get an episode or a 1/2 of an episode out every 2 weeks, but sometimes people get sick or aren't available to film. Unless we're blown off the face of the Earth, you should see a new episode or 1/2 of an episode every month.
Q: What do you film and edit with?
A: At the moment, we film with a Canon camcorder from the mid 2000's and a basic tripod. We don't have an external microphone yet (same goes for lights), but some audio we do dub over. We edit our footage with Magix Movie Edit Pro MX for Windows 7.
Q: How do you film underwater??
A: We don't get the opportunity to film underwater very often, due to the temperature where we live, but when we do we film in outdoor pools with an iPod nano in an underwater-safe smartphone bag. This works quite well, although we are looking at GoPro options! :)
Q: Where does your fish footage come from?
A: We filmed our fish footage using a Canon PowerShot at our local Aquarium!
Q: What's that song you use for the end credits?
A: It's called "Sweet Surrender" by Sarah McLachlan, who actually lives in BC right now. Hannah's a huge fan of hers.
Q: Who posts on your Instagram?
A: Usually Hannah aka Nessa!
Q: When will your next episode be out?
A: We'll update that on the top right-hand corner of your screen as much as possible, right now, we're aiming to have episode 5 out by May or early June.
